One year ago we added in a Tier 2 provider to give us access to Cogent for redundancy. This year we now have a direct contract with Cogent to offer direct network access to their network (AS174).  At this time we have a GigE circuit with Cogent.  They are building fiber into our facility and once this process is complete, we will have the ability to quickly add in 10Gig ports to their network.  All of our routing through Cogent goes through South Bend, Indiana where our primary data center facility is located.

Not only have we added in direct peering with Cogent, but we have also added in redundant Cisco routers to our network.  This allows our entire network to remain online in the event of a router failure.  Each router is on a separate power circuit & UPS.  Our upstream providers are connected to separate routers to also ensure redundancy.

What it Means to You

These upgrades provide redundant connections to provide 100% uptime for our clients.
